Product Upgrading | RONGSU Unveils Its New Multi-Laser Wire-Feed Additive System, the L1 Lite—We Sincerely Invite You to Experience It Firsthand at TCT Asia

Since its launch, the integrated Wire Laser Additive Manufacturing Platform L1 Lite has received widespread market attention and a large number of inquiries from users, and has been successfully selected for Additive Manufacturing Alliance of China's 2025 List of High-Quality Additive Manufacturing Products. The L1 Lite enables numerous customers to begin 3D printing by integrating metal 3D printing equipment using their existing robots, machine tools, and other equipment, without the need to purchase a complete dedicated system.

To better meet users' growing demands for convenience, operational stability, and adaptability to various applications in real-world production, RONGSU has comprehensively upgraded the L1 Lite. The new L1 Lite system offers higher integration and more stable performance, providing users with a highly cost-effective, versatile, and highly adaptable metal additive manufacturing case.

Gradual increases in integration enable efficient and stable operations

Five-in-One Design for Rapid Integration into Production Lines

The new L1 Lite wire laser additive manufacturing platform features a deeply optimized integration of five key functional modules: water, gas, wire, laser, and power. Its integrated design results in a more compact structure, with dimensions of just 380 mm × 870 mm × 1233 mm. The compact main body significantly reduces space requirements and minimizes the costs associated with site modifications and layout adjustments, making it easy for integrators to incorporate into production lines. The equipment features a comprehensive range of interfaces and a clear functional zoning logic. Additionally, all wiring harnesses connecting the system to the mounted unit are organized through cable carriers, ensuring neat and standardized cable harness, enhancing ease of use, and further reducing integration complexity.

Support hot wire laser processing

The L1 Lite system incorporates an internal hot wire laser module that preheats the wire laser, significantly improving the efficiency of additive manufacturing or cladding processes. Utilizing RONGSU's proprietary VEAM customized energy field technology and power-following technology, the system dynamically controls thermal energy input based on the actual additive printing path and the direction of the melt pool's movement. It customizes the distribution of the energy field, reducing thermal energy input by 40%, minimizing internal residual thermal stress, and enhancing the overall process performance of the printed parts.

In-house Developed Wire-end Sensor

The L1 Lite system comes standard with in-house developed wire-end sensor that accurately detects the wire length emerging from the laser head and automatically calibrates it, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. This addresses the stick-out control challenges inherent in traditional equipment at its root, effectively preventing print deviations caused by parameter fluctuations and improving print stability.

Fully Compatible, Plug-and-Play

The L1 Lite features an open communication interface that supports multiple industrial protocols, enabling integration with most industrial manufacturing equipment on the market—including robots, machine tools, and lathes. This allows you to build a metal 3D printing system tailored to your production needs, quickly integrate it into your existing production line, and achieve plug-and-play.

In addition, the L1 Lite is equipped with a high-power 3000W laser head that supports printing on highly reflective metals such as aluminum alloy, thereby expanding the range of printable materials.

Lite+N: Mastering Every Scenario, Pushing the Boundaries of Application Possibilities

Breaking the limitations of traditional additive manufacturing equipment, which is typically confined to a single application scenario, the L1 Lite innovatively adopts the "L1 Lite+N" approach to achieve comprehensive coverage across all scenarios. It supports a wide range of operational scenarios, including additive manufacturing, laser cladding, part repair, and integrated additive and subtractive, thereby expanding the boundaries of DED technology. The L1 Lite provides customized, highly adaptable, and cost-effective smart manufacturing solutions tailored to diverse industry applications.

Flexible Process Switching Unlocks the Potential for Diverse Applications

The L1 Lite can also be equipped with an innovative accessory— "Powder Companion" Gas-Shielded Powder Feeding Nozzle with a shielding gas shroud, when installed, enables simultaneous wire and powder feeding upgrading. By replacing the cover of the existing wire-feeding print head, the system easily supports three printing modes: powder-feeding, wire-feeding, and simultaneous wire-and-powder feeding. These modes can be freely switched without complex calibration, improving the device’s process flexibility to meet processing needs for different materials and scenarios. A single device can handle diverse production tasks, effectively reducing corporate equipment investment costs.

As a key driver of industrial upgrading, the all-new multi-laser wire-feed additive manufacturing system, L1 Lite, harnesses cutting-edge technologies to enable efficient smart manufacturing and accelerate the large-scale deployment of additive manufacturing across industries. The all-new L1 Lite will be unveiled at TCT Asia from March 17–19, 2026. We cordially invite you to visit Booth 7.1H7Q50 to explore new possibilities for the industrial application of additive manufacturing technology.
