Program Progress of the National Key Research and Development Meeting Successfully Held For "Multi-Laser Wire-Feed Intelligent Additive Manufacturing Technology and Equipment" Project

On January 22, 2026, the annual review meeting for the "Intelligent Additive Manufacturing Technology and Equipment for Multi-Path Laser Melting" project—part of the "Additive Manufacturing and Laser Manufacturing" sub-program under the National Key Research and Development Program—was successfully held in Changsha. The meeting was chaired by Professor Li Ruidi of Central South University, the project leader. Professor Yao Jianhua of Zhejiang University of Technology and Professor Lin Xin of Northwestern Polytechnical University served as responsible experts. Additionally, experts including Professor Shi Yusheng of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professor Zhou Dianwu of Hunan University, Zhao Wenjun of Ningbo Zhongyuan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., Pan Liangming of Hunan Huashu High-Tech Co., Ltd., and Xiao Peng of Hunan Yunjian Group Co., Ltd. were invited to attend the meeting.

At the meeting, Project Leader Li Ruidi reported on the overall progress of the project. The principal investigators of each sub-project,including Professor Xie Lechun from Wuhan University of Technology, Professor Li Ruidi from Central South University, General Manager Xu Fangda of RONGSU, Liu Yang from Beijing National Innovation Institute of Lightweight Ltd. and Ren Jie from CRRC Research Institute, each provided detailed reports on the technical progress, fulfillment of annual performance indicators, and financial expenditures of their respective sub-projects. The panel of responsible experts listened attentively to the reports and reviewed each item in detail. Following a session of questioning and discussion, the expert panel fully affirmed the phased achievements of each sub-project and offered positive evaluations, while also providing constructive suggestions for project optimization.
